• Simply collect 100-500 lbs of SLAG and store it in a water-tight bin/drum/bag etc.
• Call Titus Flux to pick up your material, process it back into New Flux Powder and return it to your plant for testing.
• You can test the material in your own facility or have it tested by an independent weld laboratory.

For the most accurate results:

• Please ensure a parallel testing method is employed*
• Test Virgin Flux side-by-side with Reclaimed Flux and compare the results

*Minor changes in weld parameters may be required.

Here’s how the program works:

1. Collection

You begin by collecting your slag, that would other wise be destined for the landfill. Titus Flux supplies you with collection bins for you to fill with your slag.

2. Ship back to Titus Flux

Once full, you then ship your bins back to Titus Flux.

3. Reprocessing

Titus Flux takes the slag and reprocesses it back into New Flux Powder by utilizing a state of the art Cage Mill in a process that is identical to how Virgin Flux is manufactured.

4. Decontamination

To ensure complete Quality Control – we employ a sophisticated array of industrial magnets, vacuum systems and centrifugal force density separators to remove any contaminants that may have been picked up along the way.

5. Resultant Product

The result is a New Flux Powder that retains all the ingredients and properties of its original form.

6. Shipment

The New Flux Powder is then packaged, tested and returned to the customer.

When you COMPARE the performance of Virgin Flux and Reclaimed Flux you will see they are identical!
